Mission Statement

twoBit Digital Preservation works with community media organizations and independent video producers to archive and preserve digital assets. By providing online and in-person education, training, and consultation, twoBit helps producers envision new ways to advocate for their collections, build sustainable archives,  and undertake digital preservation work.

This all-volunteer effort supports community media projects and collections representing marginalized people, including people with disabilities, LGBT and queer people, people of color, and immigrant communities.

twoBit offers one-on-one training and group workshops, as well as online resources introducing fundamental concepts in media archiving, digital preservation, and computing.
